Common questions

How long will my website take?

I aim to deliver every Ignite project within 30 days of starting it, I understand that time is money for you and you need a quick turnaround.

What do you use to build websites?

To design my websites I use some design software called Figma, I then build out the websites using a tool called Webflow.

Webflow is a powerful website-building platform that is transforming web development, it allows designers and developers to work in an entirely visual environment and create professional websites without the need for lots of complex coding.

What are your payment terms?

For the Ignite package, I use Stripe to process monthly recurring payments at a fixed rate of £99 per month. The minimum contract term is 12 months. Following this initial period, the rate remains fixed at £99, and you may cancel at any time thereafter if necessary.

How much does hosting cost?

Website hosting is included in the price of the Ignite package, you won't have to worry about this, I will manage it entirely.

Is Webflow good for SEO?

Webflow is great for SEO, it has all the features necessary to rank websites well on Google. I use third-party software such as clicks.so and screaming frog to audit websites and ensure they're fully optimised.

Will the website be mobile friendly?

Yes absolutely. All of my builds are mobile-responsive as a standard. I test the websites on Desktop, Tablet and Mobile breakpoints.

What is the process of the project?

Send me a message or book in a call and we'll have a quick 30-minute discovery call. The discovery call helps me understand more about your business and it is a chance for you to define the goals and objectives for your new website.

After the call, I'll send you over a contract and a form to fill out to define exactly what you're looking for from your new website.

‍

I'll collect any imagery, fonts, brand assets you might have and then start on putting together a design.

‍

When you're happy with the design and you've send over the copy, I'll move onto the development and build of your brand new website.

‍

Once everything is signed off, I'll transfer the project over to you and train you on how to make updates.

A quick run down

I work part-time as a designer and developer at Forage Studio, a branding and web design studio. For the rest of the week, I'm working at Eight Pixel, my freelance business. I love helping small businesses grow, and I get a lot of satisfaction from doing work that can make a big difference to peoples lives. My main skillset is helping service-based businesses attract more local customers.
